camera conclusion...

got my camera today. in the end, i settled for the fujifilm finepix e550. but that was after a lot of research, debating and price consideration b4 i took the plunge. i got it in a package that came with a 128mb xd card and the total came up to $525(inclusive 5% gst)
although a bit out of the budget i set, nonetheless still worth it. it was after a lot of consultation frm mc(bro's friend) that i decided to take this set. after work, i gave him a call and we talked abt it for quite long. he adviced me to get the canon powershot a series or the g series but those 2 were out of reach(g series cost $800++ and the a series cost $600 onwards). he also recommended i got to a shop in shaw tower but i wasn't open today. so no choice but to go over to sim lim
which was the nearest to my location.
i headed straight to the shop i walked in yesterday and talked to the guy who served me yesterday. checked out the prices for both the recommended models(out of budget) b4 settling for the finepix e550.
overall, i hv no major concerns over the cam other than its a bit big but that's wat u hv sacrifice for better functions(semi-manual operations).
on a side note, today seems like a visit-ur-friend day for me! along the way frm citylink(my work place) to sim lim, i visited a lot of friends. old friend(stopped by bodyshop suntec branch to visit chian wei), colleagues frm secret garden, colleagues frm nafa.
